ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 01: Arrival in Haridwar – Transfer to Guptkashi (205 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)

Arrive in New Delhi and embark on your journey to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, a beautiful ceremony held on the banks of the Ganges. Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night at your hotel in Haridwar.

Day 02: Haridwar to Guptkashi (205 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)

After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Guptkashi. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel, where you can unwind and refresh. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the quaint town of Guptkashi. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel or campsite.

Day 03: Guptkashi to Kedarnath via Sonprayag (30 Km drive + 20 Km trek)

Begin your day with an early breakfast before checking out from the hotel. Drive to Sonprayag, the starting point for your 20 km trek to Kedarnath. You may opt to hire a Doli or a horse for the trek (cost not included). As you make your way, enjoy the scenic views of the Mandakini River and the surrounding mountains, joined by fellow pilgrims chanting “Jai Bholenath.” Upon reaching Kedarnath, check in at the Government Camps or Lodges. Relish dinner and spend the night at the camps.

Day 04: Kedarnath to Guptkashi via Sonprayag (20 Km trek + 30 Km drive)

Awaken before dawn to freshen up and head to the Kedarnath Temple for the ‘Abhishek’ ceremony at 4:45 AM. Experience the spiritual ambiance as you partake in the darshan and puja, allowing for a personal connection with the deity. Afterward, trek back 20 km to Sonprayag, where your vehicle awaits for the drive back to Guptkashi. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 05: Guptkashi to Badrinath via Joshimath (190 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and set off for Badrinath via Joshimath. Enjoy a scenic drive along the beautiful ghat roads leading to Badrinath. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to refresh. In the evening, visit the Badrinath Temple after bathing in the sacred Tapt Kund (Hot Spring). This temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is an architectural marvel. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 06: Badrinath to Rudraprayag/Srinagar (165 Km / 5 to 6 hrs)

After breakfast, visit the Badrinath Temple for morning darshan. Later, explore local attractions including Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti Temple. After lunch, begin your drive back to Rudraprayag, passing through Karanprayag. On arrival, check in to your hotel, where you can unwind and explore the tranquil town. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07: Rudraprayag/Srinagar to Rishikesh – Haridwar (160 Km / 5 to 6 hrs)

Early in the morning, enjoy breakfast and then drive to Rishikesh, the spiritual heart of India and the Yoga capital of the world. On reaching Rishikesh, visit iconic landmarks such as Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. In the evening, drive back to Haridwar and check in at your hotel. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 08: Departure from Haridwar to Delhi (230 Km / 6 to 7 hrs)

After breakfast at your hotel, prepare for the final leg of your Chardham Yatra. Drive back to Delhi, where you will be transferred to the Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey.
