ITINERARY OVERVIEW

12 Nights – 13 Days

 

Day 01: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra (IXB) Airport to Kalimpong (About 85 kms/03 Hrs. drive)

On arrival at NJP Railway station / IXB airport welcome by our representative & transfer to Kalimpong. On arrival check-in to your hotel & spend rest of the day at leisure. Night halt at Kalimpong.

Day 02: Kalimpong sightseeing and Kalimpong to Gangtok (About 75 Kms /03 Hrs. drive)
After breakfast check out from hotel. Visit Mangal Dham, Delo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Durpin Dhara Hills & Flower Nurseries. Later drive to Gangtok. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Night halt at Gangtok.

Day 03: Gangtok (Trip to Tsomgo Lake + Baba Mandir-New)

This morning start for a half day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32kms from Gangtok City. The lake is  about 1Km long & 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people. Further 12Kms away is the Baba Harvajan Singh Mandir (new). Afternoon back to the hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Night halt at Gangtok

Day 04: Gangtok to Lachen (About 122 kms / 06 Hrs. drive)

After breakfast pick up from hotel at Gangtok & drive to Lachen (117 KM). Enroute visit Singhik view point (depends on weather condition), Naga waterfall. Check in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Night halt at Lachen.

Day 05: Excursion Gurudongmar Lake, Thangu & Chopta – Lachung

Early morning at 4 AM visit Gurudongmar Lake (subject to permit availability & weather conditions), Thangu & Chhopta Valley & later after lunch drive to Lachung. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Night halt at Lachung.

Day 06: Lachung –Yumthang Excursion (24 Km. & 11,800 ft)

Early Morning drive to Yumthang-valley (known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back visit Sulfur Hot Spring. Back to resort for lunch & spend rest of the day at leisure. Night halt at Lachung.

Day 07: Lachung to Gangtok (About 117kms/06 Hrs. drive)

After breakfast drive to Gangtok.  On the way visit Bheema & Twin Falls. Check-in to your hotel & spend rest of the day at leisure or you can enjoy shopping on your own. Night halt at Gangtok.

Day 08: Gangtok local sightseeing and Gangtok to Pelling (About 130 Kms / 05 Hrs.drive)

After breakfast check out from hotel & start Gangtok half day local city tour covering BonJhakri Falls , Flower show, Handicraft Centre, Dro-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, (Sunday closed). In the afternoon transfer to Pelling (6800 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Night halt at Pelling.

Day 09: Pelling sightseeing

After breakfast start local sightseeing tour covering Rimbi Falls,Rock Garden, Khangchendzonga falls, Khachoedpalri Wish Lake. Afternoon visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, Rabdantse View Point, Helipad Ground. Night halt at Pelling

Day 10: Pelling to Darjeeling (About 120 Kms /05 Hrs. drive)

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Darjeeling (7,100 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel & spend rest of the day at leisure. Night halt at Darjeeling.

Day 11: Darjeeling City tour

Early morning at 4.00 am visit Tiger hill (sunrise point over Mt. Khanchendzongna), on the way back visit Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. After breakfast half day city tour covering Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tea Garden (outer view), Pace Pagoda, Japanese Temple & Rope Way (Ticket Guest Own). Afternoon back to hotel & rest of the day free at leisure. You can enjoy shopping at famous mall road. Night halt at Darjeeling.

Day 12: Darjeeling – Mirik -Darjeeling

After breakfast excursion trip to Mirik Lake an excellent scenic spot, nestled in forested hills at an altitude of 5800 ft. It is famous for its man-made Sumendu Lake/Mirik Lake (enjoy boating at own cost) & on the way back enjoy shopping in famous Pashupati Market –Nepal Border (Vehicle can go only up to Indian Border). In the evening drive back to hotel & spend rest of the day at leisure. Night halt at Darjeeling.

Day 13: Darjeeling to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra (IXB) Airport (About 90 kms / 03 Hrs. drive)

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to NJP railway station / IXB airport for your onward journey.
