Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lucknow
Activities:
- Arrival in Lucknow airport or train station
- Upon arrival drive to Nepalgunj 3 hours drive
- Evening briefing about the Yatra, document check, and short orientation.
- Stay: Hotel in Nepalgunj
- Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Flight to Simikot (2,910 m / 9,547 ft) & Helicopter to Hilsa (3,640 m) & drive to Taklakot (3800 m)
Activities:
- Early morning flight to Simikot (4–6 hours).
- Helicopter flight to Hilsa (20 minutes flight – 5 passengers per trip) & 10 minutes walk to cross border
- Afternoon: Drive to Purang/Taklakot (30 KM & 1–2 hours).
- Stay: Hotel in Taklakot
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day 3: Drive to Lake Mansarovar (4,590 m / 15,059 ft)
Activities:
- Drive to Lake Mansarovar (80 KM) via Raksha Tal (4,575 m / 15,009 ft).
- Reach sacred Mansarovar Lake.
- First view of Mt. Kailash (divine darshan!).
- Spiritual activities: dip in the lake (optional), puja, meditation.
- Stay: Guesthouse near Mansarovar
- Meals: Breakfast lunch & dinner.
Day 4: Drive to Darchen (4,575 m / 15,009 ft)
Distance: ~40 km
Activities:
- Short drive to Darchen, the base for Kailash Parikrama.
- Prepare for Parikrama: rent ponies or porters if needed.
- Final briefing
- Stay: Hotel in Darchen
- Meals: Breakfast lunch & dinner.
Day 5: Parikrama Day 1 – Darchen to Dirapuk (4,950m)
- Trek: ~12 km / 5-6 hours
- Highlights:
- Start of the Kora (circumambulation).
- Walk through beautiful valleys alongside fellow pilgrims.
- Magnificent view of Mt. Kailash’s North Face.
- Stay: Guesthouse in Dirapuk
- Meals: Breakfast lunch & dinner.
Day 6: Parikrama Day 2 – Dirapuk to Zuthulphuk (4,790m) via Dolma La Pass (5,630m)
- Trek: ~22 km / 9-10 hours
- Highlights:
- Toughest and most rewarding day.
- Cross Dolma La Pass – the highest point of the Yatra.
- Pass by Gauri Kund (sacred lake).
- Stay: Guesthouse in Zuthulphuk
- Meals: Breakfast lunch & dinner.
Day 7: Kailash Parikrama Day 3 – Zuthulpuk to Taklakot
- Activities: Trek back to Darchen (4–6 hours).
- Drive to Taklakot via Mansarovar
- Stay: Hotel in Taklakot
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 8: Return to Kathmandu
- Morning: Drive to Hilsa.
- Afternoon: Helicopter flight to Simikot, then flights to Nepalgunj
- Stay: Hotel in Nepalgunj
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 09: Departure
- Activities: Transfer to Lucknow.
- Meals: Breakfast.

Cost:
INR. 2,47,888.00 per person on Twin Sharing basis.
