Day 01: Arrival in Jaisalmer

Upon arrival in the golden city of Jaisalmer, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. Begin your exploration with a visit to the iconic Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Kella, constructed from unique golden limestone. This magnificent fort, which houses an entire living community within its ancient walls, offers a glimpse into the past with its Jain temples and intricate architecture dating back to the 12th to 15th centuries.

Continue your journey through history with visits to the famous havelis—Patwon-ki-Haveli, Nathmal-ki-Haveli, and Salim Singh-ki-Haveli—each renowned for their exquisite carvings and filigree work. Later, unwind at Gadisar Lake, a serene spot that reflects the cultural heritage of Jaisalmer.

For those interested in a deeper historical experience, a visit to the Longewala Post, a site of great significance during the India-Pakistan war, is highly recommended. Witness the flag-lowering ceremony, similar to the one at the Wagah Border, to conclude your day.

Day 02: Jaisalmer – Desert Camp Experience

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to a luxurious desert camp. Day 03: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur

Embark on a scenic 5-hour drive to Jodhpur, covering approximately 287 kilometers. Upon arrival in the “Blue City,” you’ll have the evening at your leisure to relax or explore the local surroundings at your own pace.

Day 04: Jodhpur Sightseeing

Discover the grandeur of Jodhpur with a full-day sightseeing tour. Begin with a visit to the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, perched on a cliff, offering panoramic views of the city below and a clear explanation of why Jodhpur is known as the Blue City. Continue to Jaswant Thada, a beautifully carved cenotaph adorned with intricate stonework. Spend the evening exploring the local markets or simply relaxing.
