Day 08: Zurich
Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel.And the tour Rhine falls today.Rhine Falls tour come face to face with the power of nature with this guided tour to one of Europe’s most impressive natural attractions.The Rhine Falls is the largest waterfall in the continent,with a drop of 23 metres and a breathtaking width of 150 metres.The visit to the falls is the highlight of the trip, which also takes in the picturesque landscape of northern Switzerland,a quaint village and an immaculately preserved Renaissance town.Driving north from Zurich towards the German border,you will pass a stunning lower Alpine landscape that is famed for its vineyards.We’ll cross the picture-postcard village farming village of Marthalen.Almost every building appears to be a traditional whitewashed half-timbered house.In Schaffhausen,the town closest to the falls,you will see the 16th century Munot Fortress atop a hill overlooking the old town, which boasts a series of frescoed Renaissance façades.Dinner at Indian restaurant and drop back to the hotel.
