ITINERARY OVERVIEW

10 Nights – 11 Days

 

Day 01: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra (IXB) Airport to Gangtok (About 125 kms / 04 Hrs. drive)

On arrival at NJP Railway station / IXB airport welcome by our representative & transfer to Gangtok . On arrival check-in to your hotel & spend rest of the day at leisure. Night halt at Gangtok.

Day 02: Gangtok (Trip to Tsomgo Lake + Baba Mandir-New)

This morning start for a half day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32kms from Gangtok City, the lake is almost about 1Km long & 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people. Further 12Kms away is the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (new). Afternoon back to the hotel & spend rest of the day at leisure. Night halt at Gangtok.

Day 03: Gangtok to Lachen (About 122 kms / 06 Hrs. drive)

After breakfast pick up from hotel at Gangtok & drive to Lachen (117 KM). Enroute visit Singhik View point (depends on weather conditions), Naga water falls. Check in to your hotel & spend rest of the day free at leisure. Night halt at Lachen.

Day 04: Excursion Gurudongmar Lake, Thangu & Chopta – Lachung.

Early morning at 4 AM visit Gurudongmar Lake (subject to permit availability & weather conditions), Thangu & Chhopta Valley & later after lunch drive to Lachung. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Night halt at Lachung.

Day 05: Lachung –Yumthang Excursion (24 Km. & 11,800 ft)

Early Morning drive to Yumthang-valley (known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back visit Sulfur Hot Springs. Back to resort for lunch & rest of the day at leisure. Night halt at Lachung.

Day 06: Lachung to Gangtok (About 117kms/06 Hrs. drive)

After breakfast drive to Gangtok & on the way visit Bheema & Twin Falls. Check-in to your hotel & spend rest of the day at leisure or you can go shopping on own. Night halt at Gangtok.

Day 07: Gangtok local sightseeing and Gangtok to Pelling (About 130 Kms / 05 Hrs.drive)

After breakfast check out from hotel & start Gangtok half day local city tour covering BonJhakri Falls , flower show, Handicraft Centre, Dro-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology (Sunday closed). Afternoon transfer to Pelling (6800 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Night halt at Pelling.

Day 08: Pelling sightseeing

After breakfast 8.30 A.M start with local sightseeing tour covering Rimbi Falls, Rimbi rock Garden, Khangchendzonga falls, Khachoedpalri Wish Lake. In the afternoon visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, Rabdantse View Point, Helipad Ground. Night halt at Pelling

Day 09: Pelling to Darjeeling (About 120 Kms /05 Hrs. drive)

After breakfast drive to Darjeeling (7,100 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel & spend rest of the day at leisure or you can enjoy shopping at the famous mall road. Night halt at Darjeeling.

Day 10: Darjeeling City tour

Early morning at 4.00 am visit Tiger hill (sunrise point over Mt. Khanchendzongna), on the way back visit Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. After breakfast half day city tour covering Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tea Garden (outer view), Peace Pagoda, Japanese Temple & Rope Way (Ticket Guest Own). Afternoon back to hotel & rest of the day free at leisure. You can enjoy shopping at famous mall road. Night halt at Darjeeling.

Day 11: Darjeeling to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra (IXB) Airport (About 90 kms / 03 Hrs. drive)

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to NJP railway station / IXB airport for your onward journey.
