ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 01: Arrival in Srinagar

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, transfer to your reserved accommodation. In the late afternoon, unwind with a scenic Shikara ride on Dal Lake, visiting the floating gardens and local markets. Enjoy dinner at your accommodation.

Overnight: Srinagar (Deluxe Houseboat/Hotel).

Day 02: Srinagar – Mughal Gardens & Old City Exploration

After breakfast, begin a guided tour of Srinagar’s famed Mughal Gardens, showcasing terraced lawns, cascading fountains, and colorful flowerbeds against the Dal Lake backdrop.

• Nishat Bagh: This “Garden of Bliss,” designed by Asaf Khan in 1633, offers breathtaking views of Dal Lake and the distant Pir Panjal Mountains.
• Shalimar Bagh: Built by Emperor Jehangir for his wife, Nur Jehan, this majestic garden boasts terraced designs and serene canals.
• Pari Mahal: Perched on Zabarwan Hills, this ancient school of astrology offers stunning panoramic views of the city and lake.

Afternoon: Tour Srinagar’s Old City, visiting iconic landmarks like Jamia Masjid, Shah-E-Hamdan Mosque, and the Naqashband Sahib Shrine. Stroll through the historic spice markets and heritage lanes, soaking in the city’s rich culture.

Day 03: Full-Day Excursion to Sonamarg

After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Sonamarg (Meadow of Gold), a picturesque valley surrounded by towering mountains. Explore the beautiful Sindh Valley and trek or take a pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains even during summer. Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 04: Srinagar – Pahalgam (98 km – 2H 30Min)

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds), passing through Saffron fields and the ancient Awantipura Ruins. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the day exploring this beautiful valley along the Lidder River. Enjoy a pony ride through the pine forests.

Day 05: Explore Pahalgam

Spend the day exploring the scenic beauty of Pahalgam with optional trips to Aru Valley or Chandanwari by local jeep or on horseback. Both valleys offer stunning landscapes, ideal for nature walks and picnics.

Day 06: Pahalgam – Gulmarg (155 km – 3H 30Min)

After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, one of the world’s finest ski resorts, perched at 2,730 meters above sea level. Marvel at the scenic views en route from Tangmarg to Gulmarg, and upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Enjoy a Gondola ride to the highest point for panoramic views or embark on a short trek to Khilanmarg.

Day 07: Departure from Gulmarg – Srinagar Airport

After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward flight, concluding your memorable journey through the captivating landscapes of Kashmir.
