ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi and Journey to Haridwar (230 km | 6 to 7 hours)

Welcome to India! Upon your arrival in New Delhi, embark on a scenic drive to Haridwar, one of the holiest cities in India. Check in to your hotel upon arrival. In the evening, immerse yourself in the spiritual ambiance as you attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, where the sacred Ganges River comes alive with the glow of lamps and the sound of hymns. Enjoy a delightful dinner at your hotel.

Day 2: Haridwar to Guptkashi (205 km | 7 to 8 hours)

After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and set off for Guptkashi, a quaint town known for its religious significance. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore Guptkashi at leisure. Take in the serene surroundings and visit the local temples. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your accommodation.

Day 3: Guptkashi to Kedarnath via Sonprayag (30 km drive + 20 km trek)

Start your day early with breakfast, then drive to Sonprayag, the starting point of your trek to Kedarnath. The trek is approximately 20 kilometers and can take around 8-10 hours on foot. For added comfort, you may hire a Doli or a horse (cost not included). As you trek, feel the spiritual energy surrounding you, accompanied by fellow pilgrims chanting “Jai Bholenath.” On reaching Kedarnath, check in at the Government Camps or Lodges. Enjoy a hearty dinner and rest for the night.

Day 4: Kedarnath Temple Visit and Return to Rudraprayag/Srinagar (20 km trek + 55 km drive)

Awaken before dawn to prepare for an early morning Abhishek (ritual bathing) at the Kedarnath Temple. Experience the divine ambiance as you worship Lord Shiva and have the opportunity to touch the deity. After darshan and puja, return to your accommodation for breakfast. Later, trek back to Sonprayag, where your vehicle awaits to drive you to Rudraprayag or Srinagar. Check into your hotel, unwind, and enjoy dinner before settling in for the night.

Day 5: Rudraprayag/Srinagar to Rishikesh and Haridwar (165 km | 6 to 7 hours)

Following breakfast, embark on a scenic drive downhill to Rishikesh, the renowned Yoga capital of the world. Explore significant sights like Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, soaking in the spiritual atmosphere. In the evening, continue your journey to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax for the night.

Day 6: Departure from Haridwar to Delhi (230 km | 6 to 7 hours)

After breakfast at the hotel, prepare for the final leg of your Chardham Yatra journey. Drive back to Delhi, filled with memories of your spiritual adventure. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the railway station or airport for your onward journey.
