Mahabaleshwar - Panchgani - 3Days

ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 1: One of the famous and favourite hill station in Maharashtra is Mahabaleshwar. On arrival transfer to your hotel. Proceed for local sight seeing tour which included the famous 16th century Mahabaleshwar temple dedicated to Lord Shiva built by Chandrarao More with a swayambhu shivalinga which is 500 year old. The confluence of five rivers Krishna , Veena, Savitri, Koyna and Gayatri is our next stop that is The Panchganga temple Also visit the source of the Krishna river – Visit Krishnabai temple. Some view points to be visited are Elphinstone point, Savitri point, Arthur’s seat point & Sunset point.

Day 2: This day you will visit all the local points from where you will have a beautiful view of the Sahyadri Vally the main points are Lodwick’s point, Elephant’s head point & Kate’s point. Visit Lingamala falls and Mapro Garde which is must if you are sweet lover. Evening at leisure at Venna Lake to enjoy boating on the lake.

Day 3: Morning you must visit the Pratap Gadh which has a special historic icon in the history of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Maratha dynasty. Afternoon proceed to Panchgani which is just 13kms from Mahabaleshwar. Table Land, Parsi point, Sydney point & Devil’s kitchen are some of the point you must cover while you are in Panchgani. Then on the way home visit Wai, a famous pilgrimage centre famous for Dholya Ganpati.
