Visit the 8th century rock cut temple, Pataleshwar dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Shaniwar Wada was the center of ruling power once when Peshwas were ruleing the Maratha Dynasty. Lokmanya Tilak, Agarkar , Chaphekar, Vasudev Phadke are the gems to Indian Indipendance movement by Pune city. Visit Shaniwar Peth which has the famous Vishrambaugh Wada. Birth place of Shivaji Maharaj fort Shivneri and one of the Ashtavinayak temple Lenayadri is at a driving distance from city. The young Shivba spent his childhood in Lal Mahal. The famous Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Mandir is walking distance from the famous market of Tulsi Bagh. Visit Raja Dinkar Kelkar museum featuring a collection of weapons, paintings, musical instruments etc.
Day 2: Next day of Pune tour can start with the National War Museum. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi spent about 2 years at Aga Khan Palace you can take a walk in the monument. If you have missed the shopping at Tulshi Bagh & Laxmi Road you must try it. A beautiful view from Parvati garden and Ganesh Temple is evening beauty it has a museum dedicated to the Peshwas.
