ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 01: Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong (130 KMS / 3 HRS)

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to the scenic hill station of Shillong. En route, enjoy a brief stop at the serene Umiam Lake (Barapani Lake), a picturesque spot perfect for photography. Upon arrival in Shillong, check into your hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 02: Excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 KMS / 2 HRS One-Way)

After a hearty breakfast, embark on an excursion to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on Earth. Marvel at the majestic Nohkalikai Falls, take in the panoramic views from DwanSyiem Viewpoint, and explore the fascinating Mawsmai Caves. On your return journey, visit the famous Shillong Peak for a bird’s eye view of the city and the beautiful Elephant Falls. In the evening, you can enjoy shopping at Police Bazaar.

Day 03: Shillong to Kaziranga National Park (320 KMS / 7-8 HRS)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and take a short visit to Ward’s Lake, where you can enjoy a peaceful boat ride (at your own cost). Then, proceed to Kaziranga National Park, the renowned home of the “One-Horned Rhinoceros.” Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing in the natural surroundings.

Day 04: Kaziranga National Park (Elephant Ride & Jeep Safari)

Start your day early with an exciting Elephant Ride through the misty forests of Kaziranga. Enjoy the first ride from 5:15 AM to 6:15 AM or the second ride from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast and relax before embarking on a thrilling Jeep Safari in the Central Range of the park. In the evening, you have the option to enjoy an authentic Assamese cultural dance show at the “Rang Sandhya” auditorium (Bihu Dance & Jhoomar Dance – tickets at guest’s own expense).

Day 05: Kaziranga to Guwahati (250 KMS / 4 HRS)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Guwahati. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. In the evening, you may choose to embark on a relaxing river cruise on the Brahmaputra River (at your own cost), soaking in the tranquil views of the sunset.

Day 06: Guwahati – Kamakhya Temple & Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India. After your temple visit, you will be transferred to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
