ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 01: Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong (130 KMS / 3 Hrs Drive)

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. Begin your journey with a scenic drive to Shillong. En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake (Barapani Lake) for a brief visit. Once in Shillong, check in to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 02: Excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 KMs / 2 Hrs One-Way Drive)

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee, renowned for receiving the highest rainfall in the world. Visit the breathtaking Nohkalikai Falls, DwanSyiem Viewpoint, Mawsmai Caves, and the stunning Seven Sister Waterfalls. On your return journey, stop at Shillong Peak and the famous Elephant Falls. In the evening, enjoy shopping at Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 03: Excursion to Dawki & Mawlynnong (90 KM / 3 Hrs One-Way Drive)

After breakfast, head out for a day trip to Dawki. Visit the serene Umngot River, known for its crystal-clear waters, and the Indo-Bangladesh border. Continue to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia (awarded in 2003). Here, enjoy a short trek to the fascinating Living Root Bridge. Return to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 04: Shillong to Kaziranga National Park (320 KM / 7-8 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit Ward’s Lake, where you can opt for a boat ride (at your own cost). Then, proceed to Kaziranga National Park, the renowned habitat of the One Horned Rhinoceros. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 05: Kaziranga Safari (Elephant Ride & Jeep Safari)

Begin your day early with an exciting Elephant Ride through the grasslands of Kaziranga (First ride: 5:15 AM – 6:15 AM; Second ride: 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM). After breakfast, enjoy a Jeep Safari through the Central Range of the park. In the evening, you may attend an Assamese cultural dance show at “Rang Sandhya” forest department auditorium (Bihu Dance & Jhoomar Dance – Tickets at own cost). Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 06: Kaziranga to Guwahati (250 KMs / 5 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Guwahati. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or opt for an evening river cruise on the Brahmaputra River (at own cost). Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 07: Kamakhya Temple Visit & Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, a major pilgrimage site. Afterward, transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
