Day1: Siem Reap Arrival (D)

You will be welcomed and greeted by our professional tour guide at Siem Reap airport in Cambodia and transferred to the hotel (The official check-in time is 2pm, however, an early check-in may be available upon request, subject to room availability and this is subject to an additional charge). Check-in the hotel.

Start to visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia.

Day2: Angkor Wat (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Today’s, take a step back in time with the family and delve into the jewel of Cambodia’s crown, the temples of Angkor Wat Archaeological Park. We start the day at incredible 12th century Angkor Wat. The architectural feat stood at the heart of the Khmer Empire. Our next stop is root-riddled Ta Prohm, made famous after featuring Lara Croft: Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie. Lunch is on Indian Restaurant.

In the afternoon’s temple exploration starts at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the Khmer Empire’s last capital built in the late-12th century. Inside the city’s ancient walls, we visit Bayon and its hundreds of giant carved faces; 11th century Baphoun; Hindu temple, Baksei Chamkrong; and Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

 In the evening, enjoy a delightful Apsara Dance Show with dinner. The traditional Apsara dance is a graceful art form that dates to the Khmer Empire, offering a glimpse into Cambodia’s cultural and artistic heritage.

Visitors are required to keep their knees and shoulders covered at all sacred sites as a sign of respect. Visitors must be in the queue and waiting to climb up the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat

Day3: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (B/D) by private car without tour guide

Breakfast at hotel. Depart from Siem Reap and embark on a scenic journey to Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s bustling capital city. Along the way, stop at Skun, famously known as Spider Village, where local vendors sell deep-fried tarantulas, a unique Cambodian delicacy. Witness the lively atmosphere and experience this fascinating roadside stop. (The drive is without a guide). Lunch will be at your own expense en route.

Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, check in at your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax and explore the city at your leisure. You may choose to visit the bustling riverside area, explore local markets, or unwind at a café.

In the evening, experience the sunset over the Mekong River Cruise. Cruise along Phnom Penh’s landmarks like the Royal Palace and the floating villages of Tonle Sap and Mekong. Witness the golden colors of Phnom Penh’s skyline when the sun is set. We return to the hotel and the remaining time is free at leisure to explore pub street and night markets on your own. In the evening, enjoy dinner at Indian restaurant. The guide and transport are available until 9 pm.

Day4: Phnom Penh (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, experience the local life by embarking on a cyclo tour of the bustling capital. The three-wheel bicycle rickshaw has been used to transport people and goods since French colonial times. We start from the Independence Monument, an impressive structure that sits at the centre of a roundabout. Dating back to 1958, it was created to mark the country’s independence from France in 1953. Next, continue to the Royal Palace and adjacent Silver Pagoda. Home to Cambodia’s official royal residence, the grounds are awash with regal structures, intimate temples, and murals that paint a picture of the country’s past. Then, we will learn about traditional arts at Champey Academy of Arts, a non-profit school that delivers Cambodian traditional performing arts training programs. Lunch at Indian restaurant. After that, we head to the neighboring National Museum to admire the range of ancient artefacts that date back to the pre-Angkor era. And of course, you will have time for shopping at Central Market, where we can put our haggling skills to the test and barter for souvenirs. We return to the hotel and the remaining time is free at leisure.

Day5: Phnom Penh Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Free time at your own leisure till departure transfer to airport en route shopping.
