ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 1: Chennai – Tirupati (133kms ~ 3hrs 17min)

Arrive at Chennai meet our representative. Drive towards Tirupati. On arrival check in to your pre-booked hotel in Tirupati.

Day 2: Tirupati

After breakfast take darshan at Tirupati temple. The sacred shrine of Lord Venkateshwara or Balaji is situated on the top of the Tirumala hills and Nature in all its glory, splendor and charm. An aerial view of the seven hills (Sapthagiri) would give one the impression of Adi Sesha with its seven hoods lying majestically. Hence this holy place is also known as Seshachala. The shrine can be reached either by trekking up the hills a lush green streach of 11 km or by around-the-clock bus service of the Thirumala-Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). A journey by bus or car on the magnificent ghat road negotiating hairpin bends up and down the hills with the valleys deep down proves an unforgettable experience.

Thirumala is a unique pilgrim centre which never sleeps. The Darshan of the Lord begins at 3 in the morning and ends at 12 midnight. The offerings include special Sevas and Sarva Darshan (free). Devotees wait in long queues for hours to have Darshan of the Lord, Hundi offering is an important part of the pilgrimage to Thirumala. The collections, running into crores of rupees annually is used for a charitable purpose besides for the upkeep of the temple and making of the Laddu Prasadam and other Neivedyams distributed among the lakhs of devotees daily. After darshan return back to your hotel & spend the day at leisure.

Day 3: Tirupati – Chennai

Check out from the hotel and transfer to Chennai Airport / Railway station to connect onward destination.
