Day 01: Arrival in Leh

  • Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude.
  • In the evening, take a leisurely stroll through Leh Market, visit the historic Leh Palace for panoramic city views, and experience the tranquility of Shanti Stupa at sunset.

Day 02: Monasteries and Cultural Exploration

  • After breakfast, set out to explore the cultural treasures of Leh.
  • Start with Shey Palace, the former summer palace of the Ladakh kings, then visit Thiksey Monastery, known for its architectural resemblance to the Potala Palace.
  • Continue to Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest in Ladakh, and conclude with a visit to Stok Palace Museum, showcasing royal artifacts, and Sindhu Ghat, a peaceful riverside site.

Day 03: Leh to Nubra Valley (160 km / Approx. 5 hours)

  • After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, the world’s highest motorable road at 18,380 feet.
  • Upon arrival in Nubra Valley, enjoy a camel safari on the unique sand dunes between Deskit and Hundur villages.

Day 04: Nubra Valley to Leh (160 km / Approx. 5 hours)

  • After breakfast, visit the impressive Deskit Monastery, home to the towering Maitreya Buddha statue, offering a stunning panorama of the valley.
  • Later, retrace your route back to Leh via Khardungla Pass, soaking in the magnificent landscapes along the way.

Day 05: Departure from Leh

  • Early morning transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey.
