ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 1: Arrival at NJP Rly Station/IXB Airport – Transfer to Phuentsholing (152 km – 3H 35M)
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport, meet our representative who will assist you with the transfer to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. Located on the northern edge of the Indian Plains, this bustling town serves as Bhutan’s commercial center. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.
Overnight: Phuentsholing.

Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu (165 km – 4H 34M)
After a hearty breakfast, complete the necessary immigration formalities before proceeding to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, located at an altitude of 7,710 ft. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. In the evening, visit the majestic Tashichho Dzong, also known as the Fortress of the Glorious Religion.

Day 3: Thimphu to Paro (50.3 km – 1H 13M)
Start your day with breakfast and a visit to the famous Kuensel Phodrang Buddha Statue, offering panoramic views of Thimphu Valley. Next, explore the King’s Memorial Chorten and the Folk Heritage Museum. After lunch, drive to Paro, a picturesque town nestled at 7,483 ft. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival.

Day 4: Paro Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of Paro. Visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum of Bhutan, which houses a collection of Bhutanese art, relics, and cultural exhibits. Then, head to Rinpung Dzong, the seat of Paro’s district administration. In the afternoon, visit the historical Drukgyel Dzong, a site of national heritage, and the Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.

Day 5: Paro to Phuentsholing (160 km – 4H 14M)
Enjoy breakfast before checking out from your hotel and driving back to Phuentsholing. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Phuentsholing to NJP Rly Station/IXB Airport (141 km – 3H 42M)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport for your onward journey.
