ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 01: Guwahati to Shillong (99.5 km – 2h 39min)
Arrive at Guwahati Airport where our representative will greet you. Begin your journey to Shillong, with a scenic stop at Umiam Lake, also known as Barapani. This vast artificial lake, surrounded by lush Khasi-pines and rolling hills, offers opportunities for optional water sports activities. Upon arrival in Shillong, check into your hotel and unwind in the serene ‘Scotland of the East’.

Day 02: Shillong
After breakfast, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Shillong. Visit the renowned Shillong Golf Course, often referred to as the ‘Gleneagles of the East’, situated amidst picturesque pine groves. Explore Wards Lake, an artificial lake encircled by a vibrant garden, and the Don Bosco Museum, showcasing the diverse cultures of Northeast India through its curated exhibits and artifacts. Optional: Experience an intriguing local archery show. In the evening, visit the bustling Bara Bazaar and Police Bazaar for a taste of Shillong’s vibrant shopping scene and local specialties.

Day 03: Shillong to Guwahati (99.3 km – 2h 37min)
After an early breakfast, journey back to Guwahati. Check into your hotel and visit the Kamakhya Temple, a prominent Shakti Peetha offering panoramic views of the Brahmaputra River from atop Nilachal Hill. Next, explore the Assam State Zoo and Botanical Garden, known for its unique natural forest habitat and diverse animal species. Optional: Enjoy a serene 1-hour river cruise on the Brahmaputra River in the evening, offering stunning views of Assam’s landscape.

Day 04: Guwahati
After breakfast, visit the Navagraha Temple, dedicated to the nine celestial bodies, renowned for its astrological significance. Following this, transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey.
