ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 01: Arrival in Ahmedabad & Journey to Jamnagar (315 km – 6 hours)
Start your Gujarat adventure with a warm welcome on arrival in Ahmedabad. Begin with a visit to the historic Adalaj Step Well, a stunning example of Indo-Islamic architecture. Continue your journey to Jamnagar. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel, and later, explore Lakhota Lake and Lakhota Museum. Visit the renowned Bala Hanuman Temple, famous for its continuous “Ramdhun” chant since 1956, recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. Spend the evening shopping or enjoying the local ambiance.

Overnight: Jamnagar

Day 02: Jamnagar to Dwarka (150 km – 3 hours)
After breakfast, depart for the sacred city of Dwarka. Begin your spiritual journey with a visit to the Dwarkadhish Temple, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. Take a holy dip in the Gomti River before visiting the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Gopi Talav, and Bet Dwarka. On your way back, stop at the Rukmini Temple. In the evening, explore other coastal temples and participate in the evening aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple.

Day 03: Dwarka to Somnath via Porbandar (230 km – 4.5 hours)
After breakfast, head to Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit Kirti Mandir, where Gandhiji was born. Continue your journey to Somnath, a town steeped in history and spirituality. Visit Junagadh Gate, Bhalka Tirth, and the iconic Somnath Temple. Take a peaceful stroll along Triveni Ghat and attend the evening aarti, followed by a mesmerizing light and sound show.

Day 04: Somnath to Diu (100 km – 2 hours)
Post breakfast, proceed to the coastal paradise of Diu. Known for its pristine beaches, Diu offers a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. Visit Bunder Chowk, Diu Fort, and Panikota, along with the historic St. Paul’s Church and Diu Museum. Spend your evening relaxing on the beach or exploring the town at your leisure.

Day 05: Diu to Rajkot via Sasangir (230 km – 4.5 hours)
After breakfast, depart for Sasangir, the last refuge of the Asiatic Lion. Visit the Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya for an insightful experience (note: the sanctuary remains closed during the monsoon season). Continue your journey to Rajkot. Check in at your hotel and relax after a day of exploration.

Day 06: Rajkot to Ahmedabad (220 km – 4.5 hours)
On your final day, enjoy breakfast before departing for Ahmedabad. Upon arrival, embark on a half-day city tour, discovering Ahmedabad’s cultural and historical highlights. In the evening, you’ll be transferred for your onward journey, taking with you unforgettable memories of your Gujarat expedition.
