Day 01: Arrival in New Delhi – Transfer to Shimla
Arrive at Delhi’s airport or railway station and embark on a scenic drive to Shimla, the erstwhile summer capital of British India. Nestled in the snow-capped Shivalik Mountains, Shimla offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas. En route, visit the Pinjore Gardens or take a ride on the Timber Trail Ropeway in Parwanoo. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Spend your evening exploring The Mall and The Ridge, renowned for their panoramic views and the iconic Christ Church.

Overnight: Shimla

Day 02: Shimla Exploration
After breakfast, take an excursion to Kufri, famous for its Himalayan National Park, pony and yak rides, and stunning panoramic views. In the afternoon, explore Shimla’s notable landmarks, including the historic mosques (1830), the Vice Regal Lodge (1885), Christ Church (1844), The Gaiety Theatre (1887), The Grindlays Bank (1912), and Scandal Point. Enjoy shopping at The Mall.

Day 03: Shimla to Manali
After breakfast, check out and drive to Manali, with a stop in Kullu Valley to see the Beas River and Dashehra Maidan. Arrive in Manali and check into your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax.

Day 04: Manali Sightseeing
Begin your day with visits to the 450-year-old Hidimbadevi Temple, the Tibetan Monastery, and Vasisth Village, known for its hot sulfur springs. Continue to Roerich Art Gallery, Bahist Temple, and Solang Valley for spectacular glacier and peak views. Enjoy the scenic drive past Kothi and Rahala Waterfalls (subject to weather conditions). Spend the evening at leisure or explore the Mall Road.

Overnight: Manali

Day 05: Rohtang Pass Excursion
Early morning, set off for Rohtang Pass, situated at an altitude of 3978 meters. En route, visit Kothi and Rahala Waterfalls (weather permitting). Return to Manali for an evening at leisure or a stroll along Mall Road.

Day 06: Manali to Dharamshala
Drive to Dharamshala, with stops at Baijnath to explore its Shiva Temple and Palampur, famous for its tea gardens. Dharamshala, located on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains, is renowned for its scenic beauty and as the temporary headquarters of His Holiness The Dalai Lama since 1960.

Overnight: Dharamshala

Day 07: Dharamshala to Dalhousie
After breakfast, explore Dharamshala, including McLeod Ganj (residence of the Dalai Lama), the War Memorial, Bhagsunath Temple, and Dal Lake. Proceed to Dalhousie and check into your hotel.

Day 08: Dalhousie Sightseeing
Dalhousie, named after the 19th-century British Governor-General, Lord Dalhousie, is surrounded by diverse vegetation. Visit Panjipula, Subhash Baoli, and enjoy an excursion to Khajjiar, often called the “Mini Switzerland of India,” surrounded by dense Deodar forests.

Day 09: Dalhousie to Chandigarh
Drive from Dalhousie to Chandigarh. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax for the evening.

Overnight: Chandigarh

Day 10: Chandigarh and Departure
After breakfast, visit the Rose Garden, Rock Garden, and Sukhna Lake. Check out from your hotel and head to Chandigarh Railway Station/Airport for your onward journey home.
