Day 01: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, enjoy a warm welcome before embarking on a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s vibrant capital nestled at 7,710 feet. After checking in at your hotel, take the afternoon to explore Thimphu’s charming streets, where you can soak in the unique local culture and atmosphere.

Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing
Begin your day with a visit to Kuensel Phodrang, home to the towering Buddha Dordenma statue and sweeping views of the Thimphu Valley. Continue to the National Memorial Chorten, a revered monument dedicated to the Third King of Bhutan, and gain insights into traditional Bhutanese life at the Folk Heritage Museum. In the afternoon, visit Sangaygang View Point, then explore the serene Changangkha Monastery. Stop by the Takin Preserve Centre to see Bhutan’s national animal, the takin, before concluding with Tashichho Dzong, a stunning fortress that serves as the seat of Bhutan’s central monastic body and government.

Day 03: Thimphu to Paro
After breakfast, head back to Paro, with a stop at Tamchog Lhakhang, a 13th-century temple constructed by Thangthong Gyalpo, famed for its iron bridge. Upon reaching Paro and checking in at your hotel, visit the National Museum at Ta Dzong, where you’ll find a fascinating collection of Bhutanese art and artifacts. Continue to Rinpung Dzong, the “Fortress of the Heap of Jewels,” serving as Paro’s administrative and judicial center.

Day 04: Paro Exploration
Start your day with a visit to Drukgyel Dzong, an ancient fortress offering magnificent views of the surrounding peaks. Then, embark on an unforgettable trek to Taktsang Monastery, or the “Tiger’s Nest,” an iconic cliffside temple that rewards trekkers with awe-inspiring views. After your hike, visit the historic Kichu Monastery, one of Bhutan’s oldest Buddhist temples.

Day 05: Departure from Paro
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Paro International Airport for your departure, taking home memories of Bhutan’s enchanting landscapes and cultural richness.
