ITINERARY OVERVIEW

SVHC – 110 – 6N/7D- Charming North East

(Kaziranga 2N /Shillong 2N/Guwahati 2N)

Day 01: Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Kaziranga National Park (220 kms / 5 hrs.)

On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure.

Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 02: Kaziranga National Park(Elephant & Jeep Safari Charges are not included in the package).

Kaziranga, the World Heritage Site is the oldest park in Assam & is located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for conservation of biologically diverse flora & fauna. It is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned Rhinoceroses besides sheltering about 15 species of India’s threatened mammals. There are numerous other major wildlife fauna.Early morning go for Elephant ride @5-30 A.M/6: 30 A.M./ 7 :30 A.M.( Subject to allotment from forest departmen. Return for Breakfast to hotel. After breakfast proceed for Jeep safari in the Central Range ,With Kohora as the entry point, the Central Range covers the Daphlang and Kathpora. Return to the hotel.

Elephant rides are all regulated and controlled by the forest Dept. Govt. of Assam. We do not have any control on the booking. Elephant rides & Jeep safari are subject to availability only with additional cost.

Day 03: Kaziranga National Park – Shillong (280 kms /6- 7 hrs.)

After breakfast proceed for Shillong (4,900 ft.), called ‘Scotland of the East”. Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure.

Day 04: Excursion to Cherrapunji (60 kms / 2 hrs. One Way)

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunji (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. On the way to Cherrapunji visit Elephanta Fall.. After reaching at Cherrapunji visit Nohkalikai Waterfalls, Nohsngithiang Falls (also known as the Seven Sisters Waterfalls or Mawsmai Falls),Mawsmai Cave, Dainthlen Waterfalls, Arwah cave, Wei Sawdong waterfalls, Garden Of Caves . After that, return back to Shillong.

Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 05: Shillong Sightseeing – Guwahati (100 kms / 3 hrs.)

After breakfast check out from Hotel & visit Don Bosco Museum, Ward’s Lake, later Transfer to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at hotel. In the evening you can explore local Market by Own.

Day 05: Guwahati Local Sightseeing

After breakfast out to visit Kamakhya Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Templ, Sukreswar Temple (The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva, Ropeway(Ticket not included). Evening we suggest an optional tour of Golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (Direct Payment by own).

Day 06: Guwahati Airport / Rly Station

After breakfast Check Out From Hotel & Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station &for your onward journey with sweet memories of Assam & Meghalaya..

 

Note: AC will not work in hill area. For travelling in ASSAM-MEGHALAYA guest has to carry minimum luggage (As per Assam Govt. rules carrier is not allowed in vehicle).
