Day 01: Arrival in Haridwar – Transfer to Barkot/Kharsali (205 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)
Upon your arrival in Haridwar, you will commence your journey to Barkot, nestled at the base of Yamunotri. En route, stop at Mussoorie and visit the enchanting Kempty Falls. After checking into your hotel or camp in Barkot, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to relax and recharge in preparation for your upcoming trek. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot.
Day 02: Barkot/Kharsali – Yamunotri – Barkot/Kharsali (48 Km / 2 hrs + 6 Km Trek)
Begin your day with breakfast before driving to Hanumanchatti (40 Km), followed by a short drive to Janki Chatti (8 Km). From here, embark on a 6 Km trek to Yamunotri, with options to hire a Doli or horse for assistance (additional cost). This scenic trek takes you through lush valleys filled with diverse Himalayan flora.
At Yamunotri (altitude 3,291 m), take a holy dip in the Yamuna River and visit the revered Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to the river goddess and situated near the Champasar Glacier. After completing your Pooja, retrace your steps back to Barkot for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 03: Barkot/Kharsali – Uttarkashi (85 Km / 3 hrs)
Post-breakfast, check out and drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the afternoon visiting the renowned Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Enjoy a peaceful evening before dinner and an overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 04: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 Km / 3 to 4 hrs)
Early risers will enjoy breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive to Gangotri, set at an elevation of 3,048 m amidst stunning Himalayan landscapes. Upon reaching Gangotri, take a dip in the sacred Ganges and visit the historical Gangotri Temple, a beautiful granite structure built in honor of Goddess Ganga. After completing your rituals, return to Uttarkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 05: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (190 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Guptkashi. Once you arrive, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring the town or resting. Dinner and overnight stay at Guptkashi.
Day 06: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (30 Km + 20 Km Trek)
Start your day early with breakfast before heading to Sonprayag. From there, begin your 20 Km trek to Kedarnath, an iconic pilgrimage site. You may hire a Doli or horse for this trek (cost not included). As you trek along the Mandakini River, immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere alongside fellow pilgrims. Upon arrival, check into Government Camps or Lodges. Dinner and overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Day 07: Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi/Rudraprayag (20 Km Trek + 30 Km/52 Km Drive)
Awaken before dawn to participate in the early morning ‘Abhishek’ ceremony at Kedarnath Temple. After your darshan and rituals, begin your trek back to Sonprayag. Upon arrival, your vehicle will be waiting to take you to your accommodation in either Guptkashi or Rudraprayag. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at your selected hotel.
Day 08: Rudraprayag/Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath (190 Km or 240 Km / 8 to 9 hrs)
Check out in the morning and embark on your journey to Badrinath via Joshimath. After navigating the picturesque Ghat roads, arrive at Badrinath and check into your hotel. Refresh before heading to the revered Badrinath Temple for evening darshan, including a dip in the Tapt Kund hot springs. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 09: Badrinath – Joshimath – Birahi/Rudraprayag/Srinagar (165 Km / 5 to 6 hrs)
After breakfast, participate in morning darshan at Badrinath Temple. Following your visit, enjoy local sightseeing, including Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti Temple. In the afternoon, drive back to Rudraprayag, where you’ll check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Rudraprayag or Srinagar.
Day 10: Birahi/Rudraprayag/Srinagar – Rishikesh – Haridwar (160 Km / 5 to 6 hrs)
Enjoy breakfast before departing for Rishikesh, known as the Yoga capital of the world. Explore key sights like Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula before concluding your journey with a drive back to Haridwar. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at the Haridwar Railway Station for your onward journey.
