Kedarnath Dham Yatra - Ex. Haridwar

ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 01: Arrival in Haridwar – Drive to Guptkashi (205 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)

  • Upon arrival in Haridwar, begin your scenic drive to Guptkashi. The journey offers picturesque views of rivers, valleys, and mountains.
  • Check-in at your hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is free to explore the town of Guptkashi, known for its temples and sacred significance.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/camps in Guptkashi.

Day 02: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (30 Km drive + 20 Km trek)

  • After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag. From here, you will begin your 20 km trek to Kedarnath.
  • Pilgrims can opt to hire a doli or a horse (optional, at extra cost) for the trek. The path follows the Mandakini River, offering majestic views of the Himalayan peaks.
  • Upon arrival in Kedarnath, check in at Government camps/lodges for the night.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the camps/lodges.

Day 03: Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Rudraprayag/Srinagar (20 Km trek + 30/55 Km drive)

  • Wake up before dawn and participate in the sacred ‘Abhishek’ ceremony at the Kedarnath Temple. Pilgrims are allowed to enter the Garbha Griha and offer prayers directly to the deity.
  • After darshan and rituals, return to the camp for a brief rest before starting the trek back to Sonprayag.
  • Your vehicle will pick you up from Sonprayag, and you will proceed to Rudraprayag or Srinagar for a comfortable night’s stay.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Rudraprayag/Srinagar.

Day 04: Rudraprayag/Srinagar – Rishikesh – Haridwar (205 Km / 6 to 7 hrs)

  • After breakfast, drive down to Rishikesh, the renowned spiritual hub and yoga capital.
  • Visit the iconic Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula and explore the ashrams and ghats along the Ganges.
  • Later, drive to Haridwar, where you’ll be dropped off at the railway station, concluding your pilgrimage.

  • Twin/triple sharing accommodation.
  • Daily breakfast (vegetarian) at hotels.
  • Welcome drinks on arrival.
  • Newspapers in the vehicle.
  • Air-conditioned vehicles for transfers (AC may not operate in hilly regions).
  • All interstate taxes, permits, parking, road tax, toll taxes, and fuel charges.
  • Applicable government taxes and service charges.

Exclusions:

  • Airfare or train fare.
  • Personal expenses (laundry, phone calls, tips, liquor, etc.).
  • Any meals not mentioned in the inclusions.
  • Doli or horse for trekking to Kedarnath.
  • Cable car tickets and camera fees.
  • Costs due to roadblocks, accidents, curfews, or natural calamities.

Important Notes:

  • Hotels may be subject to change without prior notice.
  • Early morning starts may mean breakfast is unavailable.
  • Extra nights due to delays or personal reasons will be at the guest’s own expense.
  • For helicopter darshan, guests will need to stay in Guptkashi or nearby areas.
