Day 01: Arrival in Haridwar – Transfer to Uttarkashi (192 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)
Begin your spiritual journey by arriving in Haridwar, where you will embark on a scenic drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. This charming town, located on the banks of the sacred river Bhagirathi, is renowned for its historical monuments, temples, and ashrams. In the evening, visit the revered Vishwanath Temple, a significant spiritual site. Enjoy dinner and relax with an overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 02: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 Km / 3 to 4 hrs)
After an early breakfast at the hotel, set out for Gangotri, situated in the majestic Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3048 meters. Upon reaching Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred Ganges River, also known as Bhagirathi at its origin. Visit the exquisite 18th-century Gangotri Temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga, located near the sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. After performing your puja, return to Uttarkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 03: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (190 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)
Enjoy an early breakfast before checking out and departing for Guptkashi. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, allowing you to explore the quaint town of Guptkashi, rich in spiritual significance. Dinner and overnight stay at your chosen accommodation.
Day 04: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (30 Km Drive + 20 Km Trek)
After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Sonprayag, where your trek to Kedarnath begins. The trek is approximately 20 km, and you have the option to hire a Doli or horse (at additional cost). As you journey, you’ll be accompanied by fellow pilgrims, chanting “Jai Bholenath.” Upon reaching Kedarnath, check in at government camps or lodges. Enjoy dinner and settle in for an overnight stay.
Day 05: Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi/Rudraprayag (20 Km Trek + 30/55 Km Drive)
Wake up before dawn and prepare to visit the Kedarnath Temple by 4:45 AM for the ‘Abhishek’ ceremony dedicated to Lord Shiva. After your darshan and puja, return to your lodgings for breakfast. Then, commence the 20 km trek back to Sonprayag, where vehicles will be waiting to transfer you back to Guptkashi or Rudraprayag for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 06: Guptkashi/Rudraprayag – Joshimath – Badrinath (190 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and embark on a scenic drive to Badrinath, passing through Joshimath. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. After some rest, prepare for your evening darshan at the Badrinath Temple. Before entering the temple, visit the Tapt Kund (hot spring) for a refreshing bath. The Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is a magnificent structure built in a cone shape and adorned with a gilt bull and spire. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 07: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag/Birahi/Srinagar (165 Km / 5 to 6 hrs)
Start your day with a morning darshan at the Badrinath Temple. Afterward, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and explore local attractions, including Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti Temple. In the afternoon, drive back to Rudraprayag, visiting Karanprayag en route. Check in at your hotel upon arrival and spend the rest of the day exploring the town. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08: Birahi/Rudraprayag/Srinagar – Rishikesh – Haridwar (160 Km / 5 to 6 hrs)
After breakfast, drive downhill to the spiritual city of Rishikesh, known as the Yoga capital of the world. Explore key landmarks, including Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. In the evening, continue your journey to Haridwar, where you will be dropped off at the Haridwar Railway Station.
