Day 01: Arrival in Cochin – Transfer to Munnar (130 km / Approx. 4 hours) Welcome to Kerala! Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport, our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to Munnar, a picturesque hill station nestled at the confluence of the Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala streams. Located 1,600 meters above sea level, Munnar was once the summer retreat of the British government in South India. Day 02: Explore Munnar After a delightful breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Begin your day by visiting the Top Station, the highest point on the Munnar-Kodaikanal road, standing at 1,700 meters above sea level. Take in the breathtaking views of the verdant tea plantations that stretch as far as the eye can see. Continue your exploration with visits to the Mattupetty Dam and the Eravikulam National Park, home to the rare and endangered Nilgiri Tahr. At Rajamala, located at 2,695 meters above sea level, you’ll have the chance to witness these majestic mountain goats in their natural habitat.

Day 03: Munnar to Thekkady (96 km / Approx. 3 hours) After breakfast, check out from your hotel and head towards Thekkady, home to the renowned Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. This sanctuary, encompassing 777 square kilometers, is set around the scenic Periyar Lake and is one of South India’s most popular wildlife destinations. Although it’s part of Project Tiger, Periyar is better known for its large population of elephants. After checking in at your hotel, enjoy a guided tour of a nearby spice plantation, where you’ll learn about the cultivation of spices like cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon. In the evening, take some time to explore the local spice market.

Day 04: Thekkady to Alleppey (138 km / Approx. 4 hours) Start your day with an early morning boat ride on Periyar Lake, offering a unique opportunity to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. After breakfast, check out from your hotel and journey to Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha. This charming town, surrounded by coconut plantations and crisscrossed by canals, is often referred to as the “Venice of the East.” Upon arrival, board a traditional houseboat for an overnight cruise through the serene backwaters, a highlight of any visit to Kerala. Day 05: Alleppey to Cochin (54 km / Approx. 1.5 hours) After a leisurely breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and drive to Cochin, a vibrant city that perfectly blends history and modernity. Cochin, also known as Kochi, has a rich heritage shaped by its role as a major port on the spice route between Europe and China. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Day 06: Explore Cochin & Departure After breakfast, set out on a half-day city tour of Cochin. Visit the Dutch Palace, renowned for its exquisite murals, and the Jewish Synagogue, situated in the heart of Jew Town.
