ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 01: Arrival in Haridwar
Distance: Delhi – Haridwar (230 Km / 6 to 7 hrs)
Upon arrival in Haridwar, check in at your hotel. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti on the banks of the Ganges. Enjoy dinner and relax with an overnight stay in Haridwar.


Day 02: Haridwar to Barkot/Kharsali
Distance: Haridwar – Barkot/Kharsali (205 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)
Start your day with breakfast and depart for Barkot, situated at the foothills of Yamunotri. En route, visit Kempt Falls and take in the scenic views. After checking into your hotel or camp in Barkot, take the remainder of the day to relax and prepare for the Pahad (hill) Yatra to Yamunotri tomorrow. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot.


Day 03: Yamunotri Trek
Distance: Barkot/Kharsali – Yamunotri (48 Km / 2 hrs drive + 6 Km trek)
After breakfast, drive to Hanumanchatti (40 Km) and Janki Chatti (8 Km). Begin your trek to Yamunotri (6 Km) amidst lush valleys adorned with conifers, rhododendrons, and various Himalayan flora.
Arrive at Yamunotri (altitude 3,291 m), the westernmost shrine of the Char Dhams, dominated by the majestic Banderpunch (6,361 m). Take a holy dip in the Yamuna River, perform Pooja, and return to Barkot via the same route. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Barkot.


Day 04: Barkot to Uttarkashi
Distance: Barkot/Kharsali – Uttarkashi (85 Km / 3 hrs)
Post breakfast, check out and drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Explore Uttarkashi, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, known for its temples and ashrams. In the evening, visit the revered Vishwanath Temple. Dinner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.


Day 05: Gangotri Excursion
Distance: Uttarkashi – Gangotri (100 Km / 3 to 4 hrs)
Enjoy an early breakfast before driving to Gangotri, nestled in the stunning Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3,048 m. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the Ganges (Bhagirathi) and visit the Gangotri Temple, an exquisite structure dedicated to Goddess Ganga. After performing Pooja, return to Uttarkashi for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 06: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
Distance: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (190 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)
Enjoy breakfast and check out from your hotel. Drive to Guptkashi and check in at your hotel upon arrival. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Guptkashi. Dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation.


Day 07: Guptkashi to Kedarnath Trek
Distance: Guptkashi – Sonprayag (30 Km) + Kedarnath (20 Km trek)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Sonprayag. From here, embark on a 20 km trek to Kedarnath. You have the option to hire a Doli or horse for the trek (cost not included). The trek is accompanied by the sounds of pilgrims chanting “Jai Bholenath” and reveals breathtaking mountain vistas. Upon arrival, check in at Government Camps/Lodges. Dinner and overnight stay.


Day 08: Kedarnath to Guptkashi/Rudraprayag
Distance: Kedarnath – Sonprayag (20 Km trek) + Guptkashi/Rudraprayag (30 Km/52 Km drive)
Wake early to partake in the ‘Abhishek’ at Kedarnath Temple by 4:45 AM. After darshan and Pooja, trek back to Sonprayag. Your vehicle will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Guptkashi or Rudraprayag for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 09: Guptkashi/Rudraprayag to Badrinath
Distance: Rudraprayag/Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath (190 Km or 240 Km / 8 to 9 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Rest before visiting the Badrinath Temple for evening darshan. Don’t forget to visit Tapt Kund (Hot Spring) for a rejuvenating bath before your visit to the temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 10: Badrinath Local Sightseeing
Distance: Badrinath – Rudraprayag/Birahi/Srinagar (165 Km / 5 to 6 hrs)
After breakfast, enjoy morning darshan at the Badrinath Temple. Following this, visit local attractions such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti Temple. Post sightseeing, drive back to Rudraprayag, checking in at your hotel upon arrival. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.


Day 11: Rudraprayag to Rishikesh and Haridwar
Distance: Rudraprayag/Birahi/Srinagar – Rishikesh – Haridwar (160 Km / 5 to 6 hrs)
After an early breakfast, drive to Rishikesh, known as the Yoga capital of the world. Visit iconic sites such as Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. In the evening, continue your journey to Haridwar, where you will check in at your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 12: Departure to Delhi
Distance: Haridwar – Delhi (230 Km / 6 to 7 hrs)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on your final leg of the Char Dham Yatra, driving back to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the railway station or airport for your onward journey.
