ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 01: Arrival in Cochin Arrive at Cochin International Airport, where you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure or, if time allows, embark on a brief city tour of Cochin to explore its vibrant local culture.

Day 02: Cochin to Munnar (130 km – 3h 45min) After breakfast, check out from your Cochin hotel and drive to Munnar. The journey offers scenic views of lush jungles, tea plantations, and rubber estates. Munnar, a renowned hill station and tea estate, welcomes you with its picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 03: Munnar Sightseeing After breakfast, explore Munnar’s natural beauty. Visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam, surrounded by verdant hills and forests. Continue to Echo Point, known for its natural echo phenomenon. Discover Devikulam, a serene hill station with velvet lawns and the scenic Sita Devi Lake. Munnar’s extensive tea estates offer a delightful experience. Return to the hotel for the evening.

Day 04: Munnar to Thekkady (96.2 km – 3h 10min) Post breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady. Thekkady, home to the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, spans 777 sq. km and is renowned for its elephants. Check in to your hotel and embark on a half-day Spice Plantation Tour. Enjoy some leisure time in the evening for shopping at the spice market.

Day 05: Thekkady Exploration Early in the morning, set out for a comprehensive jungle experience, including a boat ride, elephant ride, and jungle trek in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Spend the afternoon at leisure or indulge in some spice shopping.

Day 06: Thekkady to Alleppey (138 km – 3h 45min) Begin the day with a boat ride on Lake Periyar within the wildlife sanctuary. After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha. Board a houseboat for an overnight cruise through the backwaters, exploring the scenic beauty of Kerala’s waterways.

Day 07: Alleppey to Kumarakom (37.2 km – 1h) After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive to Kumarakom. This charming village, set on the serene Vembanad Lake, is renowned for its bird sanctuary. Explore the area at your own pace and enjoy the tranquil backwaters.

Day 08: Kumarakom to Kovalam (175 km – 4h 35min) After breakfast, check out and drive to Kovalam. Once a series of quiet bays, Kovalam is now a popular beach destination with its pristine sands and palm-fringed coastline. Check in to your hotel, and in the afternoon, take a half-day tour of Trivandrum, visiting landmarks such as the Padmanabha Swami Temple, Napier Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, and Kanakakunnu Palace.

Day 09: Kovalam Leisure Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and spend the day exploring Kovalam Beach and Trivandrum city. Your vehicle will be available for local sightseeing as you soak up the sun and enjoy the beach.

Day 10: Kovalam to Trivandrum (18.1 km – 37 min) After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Trivandrum Airport for your onward flight.
